A thought for the day… Money is only an issue when you earn at a level where you need to think about it every pay check.  Once you’re earning enough money that it’s no longer on your mind, you’re finally free to do your job.  Easier said than done but certainly interesting to consider.

I know this speaks loud and clear to me and the brilliant folks that work at Tongue.

Interested to hear your feedback.

It’s interesting .
For me I’d say I give 100% even for tf but I honestly am no longer motivated to do TF jobs for people . It actually costs me money .
Honestly makes me think the ones at the top that don’t need to care so much about money and could probably claim it on tax don’t even offer travel expenses .
It’s really interesting actually , one weekend I was offered a small about for runway, but had to rehearse for two days prior travel for several hrs and be at the show for about 15 hrs .
I was offered another job doing promo work for 3 times the amount and 15 mins travel compared to the other 15 hrs .
Seems to me the higher up also want to give less $.

Speaks to me also. Definately motivated by money but only to a point. I really think the right opportunity is worth way more than the right money.

Most creative folks I know play by these rules. It’s should never be about the money but it helps!!!

Ha.

This is so true.

Why do opera singers get underpaid when bankers get overpaid.

Creativity should be a high priced commodity…
